Drill to journals within Oracle
Financials from any level of data held within OFA.
When OFA users review actual data they frequently need to check the underlying
journals to understand variances or check adjustments have been posted correctly.
The standard drill to detail functionality imposes a number of restrictions
on its use. It only works at posting level from cubes interfacing directly
to the GL. SDMC has developed a tool that enables single click drill
from any level in OFA from any cube to the underlying applications. The
results can then be transferred to Excel. This can save many man hours
of effort, and improve the quality of actuals reporting. This facility
is available with both the Windows client and the web versions of OFA. |
