Feeding budget and forexast data back to the GL can be error prone as OFA as standard does not recognise any cross-validation rules existing in the GL. SDMC has created a mechanism to load the cross-validation rules into OFA for use during budget creation. Errors are highlighted to users during data entry and may be corrected immediately to avoid time consuming upload failures. This error reporting can be extended to include disabled segment values, and incorrect parent level data entry.
